Kraut Kontrol

Sebastian Kleff
In 2010 I discovered how to hack a gamepad and change it into a MIDI controller. Soon after this discovery I got attracted by Arduino and all the possibilities it offers for creative applications. Since 2 years I´m giving workshops about hardware hacking and Arduino. Most of them in a museum for contemporary art (NRW Forum, Düsseldorf/Germany). I also like to make performances with homemade instruments and devices, sometimes including audience interaction. In 2018 I have been invited to create an installation for the NRW Forum museum, it´s called "ADI" (audience development interface). Before 2010 I have been mostly interested in contemporary art and worked as a gallery assistant in Düsseldorf, Berlin and Vienna. Since 2018 I live and work in Paco de Arcos/Portugal.

Besides taking part in several international projects and training courses, in 2017 she gave her first workshop on music improvisation and communication. She plans to continue giving workshops, based on artistic non-formal methods of education and focused on assisting the participants in their individual self-explorational journeys while maintaining a deeper connection with the surrounding world.
